Our staff is trained and skilled, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Amanda - Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Amanda was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. She went to Tallahassee Community College then Florida State University, graduating with a dental assisting certification. She is the proud mama to a beautiful baby girl named Ainsley and a yellow lab named Dixie. She enjoys working out, tanning, and scrapbooking.

Ann-Marie - Orthodontic Assistant

Ann-Marie was born in Gainesville, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee when she was 3 years old and graduated from Florida High in 2001. She then obtained her license in Cosmetology and worked in the field until she and her husband moved to Chipley in 2007. Upon moving to the area Ann-Marie started working for a general dentistry practice where she was trained and certified in various areas of dentistry. This year she and her husband returned to Tallahassee to be closer to their families and Ann-Marie was fortunate enough to find our practice. In her spare time, Ann-Marie enjoys bass fishing, watching Supercross, Motocross, or Gator football and various crafts. Ann-Marie and her husband have three beautiful four legged children that they love dearly, Tipper Star, Leia and Cora.

Gail - Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Gail has been in the dental field since 1978. She is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant in both Georgia and Florida. She has been in orthodontics since January 1982.

Lori - Administrative Assistant

Lori grew up the daughter of an Air Force Dad and did several moves around the country. After graduating high school in Germany, she settled in St. Petersburg, Florida and moved to Tallahassee in 1995. Prior to joining Burch Orthodontics, Lori worked as a Project Controller handling large scale project financials. Lori and her husband, Wayne, have two sons. Josh graduated Chiles High School and is currently serving our country as a Senior Airman in the USAF. Cole attends Community Christian School. Lori and her family love Yankees Baseball and Florida State Football. Lori loves to bake and enjoys spending her weekends entertaining and hanging out with friends and family.

Mindi - Insurance Specialist

Mindi was born and raised in Marianna, FL. She moved to Tallahassee in 2004 to attend Florida State University. Soon after college she fell in love, got married, and was blessed with one of the sweetest little girls in the whole world, Natalie. Her hobbies include: baking, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Mitzie - Financial Coordinator

Mitzie was born in Memphis, TN and after multiple moves throughout the southern states, her family finally settled in Tallahassee when she was 8. She and her husband, Robert, have been married for 9 years. They have two wonderful children, Dawson and Lily, and an adorable long-haired dachshund named Lincoln. Mitzie has worked in bookkeeping for over 10 years, as well as event planning for several years. Her career with Dr. Burch started in August of 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her little ones skating, FSU football games, and family movie nights.

Stephanie - Treatment Coordinator and Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Stephanie has been working in the dental field for 24 years. She began as a dental assistant in her home town of Dalton, Georgia in general dentistry and continued her education in cosmetic dentistry when she and her family moved to Tallahassee in 2001. She serves as Dr. Burch’s treatment coordinator as well as orthodontic assistant and support for the front desk. Married for 25 years, she and her husband, Kelly, have three beautiful children: Lauren,21, Carter, 17 and Mackenzie Grace,15. Stephanie spends what little free time she has cheering for her children at their sporting events and wrangling her menagerie of pets which include: two dogs, three cats, ten Japanese koi and random dust bunnies.

Tres - Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Tres was born in Oklahoma City, OK and raised in Marianna, FL. She graduated from the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting in 2002 and has worked for eight years as a certified orthodontic assistant. Tres has been married to her husband, Bobby, for 21 years. They have five children: Tyler 21, Taylor 18, Alle 17, Maddy 15, and Spence 12. She is also a proud grandmother to a 1 year old baby girl, Adalyne. Tres spends her free time having fun with her children. She enjoys sewing and crafts. Her most favorite pastime is salt water fishing with her brother, Michael.

Ximena - Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Ximena was born in Lima, Peru. She has been married for 10 years and has two lovely children. Camila is 10 years old, and Santiago is 6. They moved to Tallahassee in 2003. Ximena started her dental career in 1996 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dentistry from USMP in Peru. She is also a Certified Orthodontic Assistant, and she enjoys her job like no one else! Ximena started working for Dr. Burch in February 2007, and she considers her co-workers as part of her family. Her hobbies are cooking and playing volleyball. She helps the Dr. Burch team with their Spanish, and little by little, they are all becoming bi-lingual!
